2008 Duct Tape Fund Raiser
The sixth graders sold lengths of duct tape to raise money for their over-night camping trip. The students used the tape to stick their teachers to the wall!!! Thanks to Mrs. Shaw, Mrs. Brooks, Mrs. Crum and Mr. White for being such good sports!! (9 photos)
COSI 4-9-08 Field Trip
Grades three through six traveled to COSI to visit the exhibits. Fourth grader Tiffany Smolinski had a hair-raising experience with the electro-static machine! The sixth graders watched a live knee-replacement surgery. (12 additional photos)

Science - Animal Cell Cookies
In science, the upper grades learned about cells. We created animal cell cookies, labeled them with flags that had the cell part names and then we ate them. YUM! (6 additional photos)

Students have active learning opportunities year-round at New Hope. Traditional teaching techniques are supplemented with hands-on activities that engage the students on many different levels. In the summer, students can elect to participate in Nuggets at New Hope which focuses on fun learning activities in art, reading, science and many more! (9 additional photos)
